Our Company

Indlovu Sebenza: has been in business since 2011 and is involved in the recycled glass business. We were formed with the objective of becoming a major participant in the recycling industry, targeting small to medium size businesses.  We have been profitable of our first year of operation and have established a strong relationship with numerous distributors throughout South Africa.  We have established a work ethic and pride in providing high quality product at very competitive prices.  We have been quite successful at this by concentrating on a relatively small number of product types.

Our Market

Market Place: The products are all sold through distributors, mainly to businesses in Gauteng.  The majority of our components are purchased by manufacturers of products required to meet very close tolerance specifications and/or products that will be exposed to extreme conditions or rough handling.  We expect to more than double our distributor base in the coming years, concentrating mainly on the Africa States, Europe and China. Our market penetration has been small to date, but is growing as our reputation for high quality products gains acceptance.  Market share should grow to exceed expectation over next 5 years. 

New products will be introduced early next year.  The initial marketing thrust will be aimed at business enterprises that can gain significant cost savings from reduced input cost bills.  We have already conducted "prototype demonstrations" for representatives from a number of industry publications, receiving a positive response.  We expect to see several good "new product" articles in the first quarter of next year.

Our Social Responsibility

As part of our social responsibility program, we adopted the Old Corner Shop in association with the Emakhazeni Development Trust where we created a market for all handcraft products from the local community which are selling under the branding of "African Home".

In addition to this, we established a handbag project using recycled bill boards under the leadership of local architect Estelle Oberholzer
